Peter Bull est un génie du mashups et des remix à partir de tubes bien commerciaux. Plus connu sous le nom de Norwegian Recycling, Peter est un pro pour donner une deuxième vie à toutes chansons qu’il touche !

Quand j’ai demandé à Peter d’où venait son inspiration, j’ai compris qu’il ne faisait qu’un avec la musique.

Peter : I just follow my creativity and see where it takes me and every song has its own uniqe background story. Even thou I work in a self-developed workflow, i have learned that creativity doesnt follow strucutre, which is why I love to compose and remix. You never know where you gonna end up. Inspiration seems to find me everywhere. With all the new impulses that internet gives me, surfing the internet for a couple of hours can really do wonders to my inspiration.

Un mashup que j’apprécie tout particulièrement car c’est celui qui m’a fait découvrir Norwegian Recycling : Acoustic Alchemy

Peter : For the last 6 months I have mainly been listening to various styles of electro-house due to an obsession with funky basslines. Other genres that trigger my facination is DnB, psytrance, chillout, dub, electronica and IDM. I also recommend everybody to check out Owl City and Imogen Heap. Two amazingly talented artists !


La chanson dont tu as le plus honte mais qui te fera toujours passer un bon moment ?

Good music never makes me ashamed.

Quel est le concert que tu ne veux surtout pas rater cette année ?

Well, I am going with my friends to Roskilde (Denmark) next summer. Roskilde is one of the biggest music festivals in Europe, and even thou i don’t know the line-up yet, I know that it’s going to be amazing !

Youtube and Last.fm are essential for me when discovering new music. But I also get music-recommendations through music-blogs and music-production forums.


Si tu devais défendre un album, se serait lequel et que dirais-tu pour me pousser à l’écouter ?

My favorite album « Shpongle – Nothing Lasts… But Nothing is Lost » is an album that changed my life and my whole perception of what music is. I have listened to this album several times a week since 2008 and i discover new details about it in every listen. Simon Posford has created a innovative, imaginative and absurd album with the best from both acoustic and the electronic worlds.


Tu es plutôt scène, studio ou clip musical ?

A enjoy music in all kinds of formats and domains because they all add something to the whole musical experience.
